If your property is advertised on a property portal, that’s Rightmove, Zoopla or OnTheMarket for example, and you decide that you don’t want it on there any more.

The best thing to do is contact the estate agent straight away and ask them to take the details down.

They can do that and it may take a little while to update on Rightmove or Zoopla or the other portal and that could be anything up to about 24 hours.

If they really need to do it quickly, there is a way you can login to the portal and make the property invisible and that way it gets taken down straight away.

So, if that’s your preference then just make sure you tell your agent.

If all else fails and your agent isn’t playing ball, the best thing to do is contact the portal themselves and they’ll arrange that for you.
