Where Would You Live – Coast or Countryside?

f you are given a choice between the cool sea breeze and the fresh air of countryside, what will you choose?

Both are equally refreshing and time spent on a beach or in the countryside is any day better for your overall health than living in the hustle bustle of a city. Experts say that even a visit to picturesque coastal locations or lush green countryside can give you a feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation.

So, how about living in either of these places? But you must be wondering which one is better, so to help you in taking that decision we are giving you pros and cons of both.

Coastal living

Living by the coast is all about lifestyle whether it is surfing, sailing or socialising by the beach. There is always a plenty to do at the seafront, a beach gives children a place to play, and you can go for walks, or exercise in cool sea breeze or enjoy various waterfront activities. Also, seaside towns have several eating joints by the beach to enjoy.

However, there is a downside to it as well since properties here are little expensive. The weather can also be a little more ‘wild’.

Countryside Living

The countryside living gives you an increased privacy and you get more space for the money you spent. If you love gardening or dream of growing your own veggies buying a property by the countryside is ideal for you. It also means more space for your children to play. The air is cleaner and fresh and is certainly beneficial for your health and the greenery around gives you a relaxed state of mind and reduce stress levels.

The disadvantage of countryside living is the distance which one has to travel for basic amenities like school, office or for doing the grocery shop. Places to eat and other entertainment options are also farther away. During winters roads may not be in good condition and mechanics are harder to find.

So, take some time to think what suits your lifestyle and what’s most important for you. We hope these pros and cons will help you to take that decision
