The Rise and Fall of House Prices in England October 2021.

Today’s Office of National Statistics latest figures are in for October 2021. This gives a real insight into what the property market looks like in the UK. There are a lot of statistics and data around each release but we’ve decided to summarise the release into an easy-to-read visual data image (below).

As 2021 draws to a close, we look back at the year with mixed feeling. The property market has been very busy of course, and for many that’s great but there are millions who feel that their chance of buying a property has slipped even further out of reach. The property market and the people who work in it were luckier than many, able to continue working when others could – not and thanks to them, many were able to move to their ideal home which these days is more important than ever. And what might the future hold for property? Well that’s anyone’s guess, so perhaps we should just spend December enjoying our homes over the Christmas break and await events that are out of our control. In the meantime, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2022.

Regardless of the statistical price of the property, we will always buy any house anywhere in England or Wales.

Let us know what you think the future holds for the property market in the comments and stay tuned for another post next month.
