It’s Friday and that means it’s time for This Week In Property, the weekly series summing up the UK property market in a simple graphic.
After the election this week estate agents in central London have seen a surge in high end deals.
A report has been released showing that there has been 590 prosecutions of private landlords and lettings agents in the three years to the end of March, with 359 by the London borough of Newham.
We have also seen that average rents are now starting to rise across the United Kingdom as regions catch up with London Growth. Tenant evictions also reach a six year high amid these rising rents and benefits cuts.
